What’s the SKG Bod Squad?

It’s a group of moms and role models who are incensed by the world’s pressure to make little girls grow up too fast! They’re the authors of your Secret Keeper Girl mother/daughter connecting resources, the creators of the Secret Keeper Girl Tour live event and the first signers of The Modesty Project. They often rant about the issues their own girls face and share creative solutions on the Bod Squad blog.

Dannah Gresh, Creator of Secret Keeper Girl Dannah has sold over nearly a quarter of a million copies of her books—including "And the Bride Wore White" and "Lies Young Women Believe" (co-authored with Nancy Leigh DeMoss)—, making her one of the most successful Christian authors targeting teens and tweens today. She is the author and creator of Secret Keeper Girl. Dannah and her husband, Bob, have three teenaged children—Rob, Lexi and Autumn. She is shamelessly in love with her labradoodle, Stormie!

Suzy Weibel Suzy is the co-author of "T is for AnTONIa" one of our new Secret Keeper Girl fiction books and appears at some cities on our Secret Keeper Girl Tour. A self-proclaimed tomboy, she still shoots hoops to compete with the best of the guys but she’s committed to being a Godly girl, too! She’s the author of "Secret Diary Unlocked: My Struggle To Like Me" for teens and the mother of two teen girls, Rachael and Marie. And, oh yeah, she drives a Vespa named “Pearl!”

Kim Michell Kim is the peace-loving road manager of the Secret Keeper Girl Tour, which means she appears at a lot of our Secret Keeper Girl Tour stops. It also means that she keeps the hosting churches happy and keeps the team pepped up for long trips. If you book an event, you’ll communicate with Kim a lot. She lives in the sweet state of Georgia with her husband and teenaged children. Every conversation with Kim ends by her saying: “peace out!”

Erin Davis Erin is the author of “Graffiti”, a great book for teen girls about learning to see the “art” in themselves. A long-term minister of youth, Erin speaks around the nation to teens and tweens on subjects such as true beauty, finances and modesty. She appears at some cities on our Secret Keeper Girl Tour. She and her husband, Jason, are youth pastors in Springfield, Missouri, and have a beautiful baby boy. Erin loves Milk Duds.

Janet Mylin Janet is the co-author of "Just Call Me Kate", one of our new fiction books, and the editor of the entire fiction series. A former missionary to the Ukraine and long-time veteran to youth ministry, Janet now turns her attention to the tween market. She has a daughter named Lucy and a toddler named Jack! She loves dancing to ‘80’s music with her girlfriends.

Chizzy Anderson Chizzy is the co-author of "Yuzi’s False Alarm" and our final fiction co-author. She brings a cultural flavor to the team as she is a first generation American born to parents who grew up in Nigeria. She has two beautiful daughters named Sorochi and ZaanuYa! She can speak Ibolish, a crazy combination of English and Nigerian Ibo, which only her mom can understand.
